Admission Requirements

A)   Born in the Province of Quebec 

Identity:         Birth certificate with parents’ names

 Scholarity:    Candidates must be at least 16 years of age :

                   Secondary V  Diploma

                                                         Or    

                    Secondary  IV credits in English, French and Mathematics

                                                        

                                                          Or

Successful completion of General Development Test  (GDT)

                  

B)   Canadian born (outside the province of Quebec)

Identity:      Birth Certificate  and Proof of  Quebec Residency ( 3 years)

Scholarity:  Equivalency

                          Or

                   General Development Test  (GDT)

                    

         

C)   Born outside Canada 

Identity:     Proof of Canadian citizenship

Or 

                  IMM 1000

Or

                  Permanent Residency Card

with Certificat de Selection de Quebec    Or   3 years Proof of Quebec Residency

Scholarity:   Equivalency

                     General  Development Test  (GDT)

How and When to Register

 

 

Registration is ongoing throughout the year.   Some programs have a waiting list, so it is important to get your application and documentation submitted as soon as possible.  The first step is to come to our Centre and fill out an application form.  

The Centre is located at 5025 Jean Talon East, St. Leonard and our phone number is (514) 374-4278.   We are open Monday through Thursday between and .  Friday hours are from to .  Please call before visiting the Centre.

Tuition fee is paid by the Ministry of Education.

Service fee is $50 to $75  per semester, depending on the program.

Material fee covers the cost of modules, workbooks and product manuals, and varies from $ 50 to $180, depending on the program.

Activity fee, including I.D. Card, Student Agenda, and other documentation costs varies from $30 to $90, depending on the program.

Uniform costs vary from $ 115 to $ 135, depending on the program.

Financial assistance in the form of loans and bursaries is available for eligible candidates.  Emploi  Quebec benefits may be extended depending on the program chosen and the candidate’s status.  Federal and/or tax credits are available to qualifying full-time students.
